So what's a Quilting Nan to do? Sew, and Embroider, with a dash of shoveling and carefully walking the dog.

This was a block of the month from HGTV back in 2004! I'm sure I must have started these blocks later in maybe 2005. And it's been sitting in a box of UFO's (unfinished objects) for more then ten years!

10 Golf Towels needing a little embroidery, I haven't had these for long. (smile) They will be finished today.
Yesterday was National Chocolate Cake Day, and since I hadn't been out of the house since last Thursday I had to go out and get me some!

Love it. Sewing, cooking...a good day. I finished my Sun Bonnet Sue quilt but can't post pictures of it until my girlfriend gives it to her daughter. I've started a baby quilt - for the to-be-born grand daughter of my sister - the sister that died. The quilt will be made from pieces of her clothes. I am doing appliques for the first time; pink hearts on 4 inch squares that I will piece together. I'll let you know how it comes out.
